With suma cum laude honors, I earned my B.S. in sociology. Combining my passion for sociology with studies in Japanese, German, and Spanish, I have become driven to fight for tolerance and equality for all people. Now, as I work toward my MLIS, I find that librarians confront the social construction of knowledge to champion the people's rights, and I am keen to join the battle.
